Hey all,
Hope this is the right place to ask this. I would like to import the folders and messages stored in some of my users' thunderbird clients. Is there any way to do this? I saw there were options for outlook, but could not find anything for thunderbird.
Thanks in advance.

Checkout the program imapsync:

Or you could perform the import within Thuderbird. Just make a Scalix account in addition to the old account and drag and drop the messags.

Don

For imapsync the problem is the messages are only stored on the local machines, we are not migrating from one imap server to another.
I don't really understand the other method you described, could you please elaborate? We are using SWA exclusively (awesome webmail system BTW), before we were using a PHP system but some of our users had thunderbird and would connect via POP3. I need to get those locally stored messages onto their new SWA account.

Migrating mail stored locally on Tbird is as simple as creating a new IMAP account on Tbird using the user's Scalix authid & password and copying the messages from the local folders to the Scalix IMAP folders.

Ah I see, that should be easy. Thanks much!
