Questions to complete security howto

Hi,

To complete the update section of the Security howto, I need the following information:

1. what is the update & security patches announce list for Scalix? => is there one central point for this information (it's now scattered around the site)?
2. for how long are security patches available after the release of a new Scalix version? => Are there differences between Community and Enterprise versions?
3. is it possible to update Scalix automatically?

Thanks,
Joost.

Great! Thanks for doing this!

1. We are posting update/patch announcements in the Support Announcements forum at:

http://www.scalix.com/community/viewforum.php?f=6

2. Patches so far have not been removed for any version and we currently have no plans to do so.

3. No.

Don

Thanks Don,

Still have a few more questions that make live easy for administrators:

1. How can we 'watch' the announce list (its locked now) and get an email when updates/patches are available? This 'push' strategy will be better than the 'pull' strategy to check periodically yourself.

2. Clear. I don't see an update from 10.0.0 to 10.0.1 on the announce list , was this ever an update or did version 10 start out as 10.0.1?

3. Clear, can you make this an enhancement request?

Regards,
Joost.

I've added the section for configuring stunnel.

Dave,

Very nice section about stunnel, thanks!

Can you perhaps help me out with the previous 3 questions (especially the first one is important).

Regards,
Joost.

You can subscribe to a daily digest for each forum by selecting the Digests option at the top of every page in the forum.

Cheers

Dave,

That seems like the solution, I will try it at once.

Joost.
