windbind authenitcation has been configured and the server has joined the domain.
ADUC is on W2K servers. We have never had an Exchange server, have been a Unix pop3 sendmail enviroment. In migrating to Scalix, I would like to simplify user administration by syncing with Active Directory.
The ADC that is on the W2K install disk is out of date on a patched W2K Server. After much research, I download Exchange 2000 SP3, extracted to a folder and installed ADC from <folder>/server/adc/setup. I installed both the ADC and ADC management tool. I then updated the ADC with patch 815452_enu-adc_i386.exe. All appear to have installed properly per MS install wizard.
Exchage Services and Exchange Admin group were added.
The users now have an Exchange Feature tab that has no features and no way to add
any. The feature list box is blank and all boxes greyed out: [enable][disable][properties].
I added my users to the Exchange Services group with no obvious chnage.
There is no Advance Exchange tab with a custom options per Chapter 2, Page 8 of "Configuring Mailnodes and Users."
