Thunderbird - LDAP and sent items

I've been using Thunderbird to access my scalix server and have a couple of questions.
1) I have been able to retrieve my contacts from scalix. How do I add a contact through thunderbird? This doesnt' look possible. Is it?
2) Scalix seems to use a folder called "Sent Items" to store sent messages and thunderbird wants to use a folder named "Sent". Is there any way to map thunderbird to the correct folder?
Thanks,
Tony

2) to change that in thunderbird just go to the account properties and look for
Copy & Folders
I must say, when I used IMAP with scalix 10, I was not very happy with it. Was probably a language thing (german). Scalix is best used with outlook and premium users, haven't tried evolution yet.
winks,

Dang, I knew that was there but I completely forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!
Does anyone have any ideas on the LDAP issue?

tonyevans: Well. I have no clue how much that will help since I am not using anything else then the mapi client atm. With the mapi client it connects to the system contact list and to a personal contact list, booth as far as I can think should be available through ldap. You have to bind to a DN and authenticate yourself and you have to look around a bit with ldapsearch.
dkelly: I care to detail my issue, just have to look through how outlook-scalix-imap and thunderbird-scalix-imap konfs tortured our poor employees

. Just a few days.

Unfortunately, you can't do it at the moment. LDAP writing is a feature that many people (including myself) have requested, but it just hasn't received any love. You can see here:
http://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Collected_User_Requests#LDAP_write_.26_IMAP_ACL_capability
For now, us Thunderbird users are stunk in RO mode :(

Well, dresdn, that's not very exciting to hear. Thanks for the answer to my question.

Posting for my own reference...
To change the Trash folder correctly, look here:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/IMAP_Trash_folder
from the bug report, it looks like there will be UI of this soon, however when I downloaded T-bird 2.0 alpha1 it was not there yet.
