Users creating folders with a leading '/' but no parent?

Had an interesting experience where a user had created several peer folders to the Inbox, that had leading '/' in the names. Afterwards, they absolutely could not delete them via the SWA or IMAP. I looked at the folder structure with omcontain and found that the server had created a 0-character folder as a parent for the folders with leading '/'s, and removing that resolved the issue.

So - to keep from having to delete folders every week, is there any way to require a minimum character length (1?) for folder names, or maybe just not allow 0 byte folder names?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,
Do you know which client the user used to create these folders? The reason I ask is that I have just tried with the latest pre-release Scalix IMAP server to create a folder "/test" and the result was a folder called "test" - which in itself is an interesting fact - but, it is not the same as what you are seeing (a folder called "" with a sub-folder called "test").

Gren.
