server failed to send a valid XML response...

Hi.
Need some assistance. I can't read my inbox. I keep getting and error "Server failed to send a valid XML response". Other mailboxes are ok, except for mine.
Any suggestions? I already tried restarting the server but I'm still getting the error. Looks like I got a spam/junk mail that is preventing me from opening the inbox.
Thanks.
Francis

If you do not have the 10.0.2 patch and you are a SBE or EE customer, please send a message to support at scalix.com and we can send it to you otherwise a fix is available in our next major community release.
Cheers

I'm currently using the community edition. Does this mean my account (particular email) is unusable until this patch is release? uhmm....isn't there just a way to delete a particular email which I thik is causing this error message?

Hi Dave,
is this problem limited to 10x? I've been holding off upgrading a client & will continue to do so if this is the case.
Also, what's the deal with the patch not being available for CE? Is this not available as in nonexistant or something else?

Hi,
older versions of Scalix are actually more delicate when it comes to handling MIME that is "on the edge" with regards to standards, so actually 10.x will probably be able to successfully convert and display more messages than any previous versions.
The inavailability of Scalix 10.0.2 patch as a CE version is more a packaging and release management issue than anything; the fixes contained therein where very customer specific and were, unlike 10.0.1, not thought to have wide appeal.
This doesn't seem to be fully true for the specific issue at hand here. If this is causing problems for a growing number of people, we might have to re-evaluate our policy. Unfortunately, we've our hands full to get Scalix 11 out of the door!
Cheers,
Florian.

To find the offending message it is a process of elimination. Access the mailbox with a different client like thunderbird or outlook, create a folder, move all inbox messages to the folder, then start moving them back to the inbox a few at time, access mailbox with swa, repeat. With enough iterations you will find the message that is causing the problem in swa.

Don
