Resource delegation possible?

While we have a couple of resources that can be managed without delegation we need to have a "Catering" resource, so people can order drinks and food for meetings. The secretary needs to be informed about such requests and accept/deny them. Is this possible?
I can add the resource as a normal user and can give the secretary delegate access, but she can't confirm/deny the meeting requests. Furthermore, if I book Catering as a resource and not as an attendee, I get an error message telling me that booking a meeting series is not allowed - even though I booked a single meeting and series are allowed.
Does anybody have a similar setup?

When delegating the calendar to the secretary is the box that sends meeting requests to the delegate checked? If so, the delegate will receive the message about the meeting and can accept on behalf of.

Yes, that's a strange error message. I guess it has to do with the resource not being configured as a resource. The error message should be better or allow it anyway. I'll enter a bug.

Seems I missed the checkbox. The delegate gets the message now if the resource is invited as a user. The problem is that if it is invited as a resource I get the strange error message I mentioned before. Seems I need to wait for the next release until this is fixed.

I'm afraid that this will not likely make it into the next release. We are pretty much at code freeze right now and I'm sure this will be evaluated as a low priority. Just want to set your expectations.

So for now its a training issue.
