How do I add contacts to the addressbook?
Is it done by adding Internet Users or what?

If you mean to each user's personal address book, then simply click on the contacts folder in SWA and click on New.

No, I mean a global addressbook that everybody have read-access to.

The global address book is referred in Scalix speak as the SYSTEM directory.
You can add entries to the SYSTEM directory using omaddent. Please refer to the man pages on how to add entries.
Here is a thread with a couple of ideas:

In SAC create a new Internet Mail User. That will create an entry in the SYSTEM address book, which is global on the server.

Hi,
Creating internet users using SAC is probably the better way to go about it.
