SCALIX V10 ON ESX - Problems after restoring message-store
Posted: Sat Jun 17, 2006 12:39 pm
Hello,
I'll trie to put our Scalix-Mailserver on an ESX-Machine.
1. I Stopped the "old" Scalix-Server (SuSE SLES 9 on IBM X346)
2. I made a tar of /var/opt/scalix/*
3. I set up a new SuSE SLES 9 Installation on ESX
-> same ip-adress and fqdn as the old machine
4. I installed SCALIX
5. I untarred me backup in /var/opt/scalix on the virtuall machine
6. I started the scalix server
I can login a SXADMIN in SAC but I cannot modify every User: Users which names includes "Ä,Ü,Ö, etc." generate a errormessage in SAC
If i try to write an email with such an account i get the following email back:
" Domain of sender address <my name>@<my domain>.de does not exist"
best regards
Frank
