I currently read and followed the guide on how to prevent email spoofing but it does not work. I can still login as anonymous user from telnet and send emails to other users in the domain.

How can i prevent this?

I tried setting ANONYMOUS Reject ALL but I could send only emails but I cannot receive.

Can you be more specific as to what you're trying to accomplish and could you post your smtpd.cfg file?

Thanks,
Rachel

Hi,

What you are discussing is an inherrant "feature" of the SMTP protocol. There is nothing from stopping me, an external user, from sending a message that looks as though it came from one of your senders, and your company.
