Hi everyone,

we are currently in the process of evaluating Scalix and couldn't find out yet if it is possible to use one installation of scalix for several (sub)organizations who all need to use a different domain and a seperate free/busy calendar.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Thanks in advance!

Regards, Moritz

You can create several seperate instances (mailstores) and run then on seperate IP addresses, which will completely partition them, but it will be a LOT more resource intensive, as a full set of Scalix processes has to run for every instance.

You can put down a seperate server for each group, if you wish.

You can have multiple domains in the same instance, but then you will have a shared address book between them. If you want to partition that, you will have to look at one of the above options.
