Hello Guys,

What should i setup if i would like to use latin2 charset in the name filed.
I have a user "Darvas István" and the log says this:

Code: Select all

2006-05-29 15:19:07,287 DEBUG [CmdExecution.executeCmd:138] ENVIRONMENT: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 OM_CHAR=UTF-8 OMCURRENT=scalix
2006-05-29 15:19:07,288 DEBUG [CmdExecution.executeCmd:140] COMMAND: /opt/scalix/bin/omshowu -n CN=Darvas Istvan/G=Istv?n/S=D
arvas/OU1=aionnet -j
2006-05-29 15:19:07,373 DEBUG [RESDispatcherServlet.dumpResponse:285] ---> RES Sending Response XML Document <-----
2006-05-29 15:19:07,376 DEBUG [RESDispatcherServlet.dumpResponse:292] <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ResResponse>
   <Command name="omshowu">
      <Status>FAILED:100</Status>
      <Output>
         <Line value="omshowu : [OM 8040] The user can't be found, or has been deleted."/>
         <Line value=""/>
      </Output>
   </Command>
</ResResponse>

i can see the "ENVIRONMENT: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 OM_CHAR=UTF-8...."
parameters, but i dont know where can i change it.
Best Regards,
Darvi

That's the language environment variable of your operating system. You can change that. Have a look at this link:

http://applications.linux.com/article.p ... 231&tid=13

also have a look at

http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtop ... racter+set

Note that scalix "supports" english and german.

Regards,
Don
