Deleting items in Public Folder

I created a SPAM subfolder under Public Folders where users can drag and drop
spam messages. How can I delete them after I copied it onto my local folder.
Do I need to have Mailbox Admin Capabilities to delete items in Public Folders?

Using an admin account (not mboxadmin) you should make yourself Owner on the folder in Outlook (right-click, permissions). That will allow you to read and delete mails even if you didn't create them.
