How do you configure scalix that he only accept your own domain. And that he don't is configured as open relay? And How can you test it.
Can scalix support 1600 users (10 MB/week) and what are the hardware requirements?
Is scalix compatible with UTF-8 and how can I caonfiure it?

Hi,
relay control is set in smtpd.cfg. See this recent thread on the subject: http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtop ... =smtpd+cfg
You can test that with telnet or with a mail client.
1600 users are no problem at all, even on a single box.. Depending on the usage pattern (are they 100% Outlook users, 100% IMAP , n % POP, n% SWA?) one needs to adjust the hardware parameters accordingly. Let us know what mix there is and we can provide a recommendation. Generally speaking I would go for a dual Xeon/Opteron with 8-12GB of RAM with plenty of diskspace.
UTF-8 support is planned for release 11. We do provide some character set other than ISO 8859-1 as of now, but let us know the exact requirement and we can give you more information.

So there will be alot of outlook clients who use imap or pop3 (90%). But if they want to use 100% SWA is this possible?

For that relay If I telnet to the server he accepts all the messages, so it looks that he is acting like an open relay

SWA users tend to put more load on a system, so if that is the primary client you need to throw more hardware at it or separate the web portion of it two a different machine, e.g. have Apache Tomcat running on server one and the message store on server2, then cross link via a Gigabit uplink the two.
If you are telneting into the relay from your local network, you are allowed to relay. You need to test from external, e.g. the Internet. Use this link to test: http://www.abuse.net/relay.html
I am not sure what you mean with changing the keyboard. That is a local configuration issue on the client. Nothing to do with Scalix. You can set it to whatever you like.
