Error moving messages to nested public folders

Hi,

I have created a public folder and some nested folders with the following directory structure:

Code: Select all

Public Folders
   General
      Mail
         Customer A
         Customer B
         ...

Getting Mails via fetchmail from our ISP and redirecting them to the folder "Mail" works fine, except for some problems with the encoding of german umlauts - described in [1].
But if I try try to move some mails from "Mail" to "Customer A" via Thunderbird and IMAP, i get the error "cannot move those flags". Moving the mails using the webmail
interface this works apparently - the mails are listet in the right folder. However - if i logout and back in, the mails are still in "Mail" and the folder "Customer A" is empty...

Anyone have a suggestion for getting this sorted out?
Thanks in advance
Knievel

The obvious solution is to not use umlaut characters.

I'll see if I can recreate it and if so, I'll file a bug. It does sound wrong.

    Cheers,

    Sascha.

    Hi Sascha,

The obvious solution is to not use umlaut characters.

Could get pretty difficult to advice our customers not to send mails with umlaut characters in the subject ;-)

However - i have no clue why, but restarting scalix solved the problem for me. Moving mails to subfolders now works both from Thunderbird and SWA...

    Thanks for your fast reply.

    Best Regards
