Resources not all listed

Hi,

When I go into the Calendar, create a new appointement, click on te scheduling tab and click "Add from Address book" I see 4 resources available. I actually created 6 resources. I placed a "1-" at the beggining of each one for easier sorting and they were all created with the exact same parameters. In the main list only 4 show up but if I type 1- in the search box and submit that search they all appear. This is a minor detail but one that I would like to be fixed up. Any ideas?

PS. In case you are wondering I have scrolled down the list and they do not appear somewhere else further down.

Could you please post a "omsearch -d SYSTEM -e "RESOURCE-TYPE=*" -m @all-attr@"

change -d SYSTEM if you have your resources in another directory and not in default system. Thanks.

ciao, Marc

are you trying to book the resource in swa or in outlook, by the way?

thx,
Florian.

In SWA.

I suspect that this is more to do with the LDAP result limit. The file /etc/opt/scalix/webmail/swa.properties has a setting for each LDAP source.
The SYSTEM directory is configured as

Code: Select all

swa.ldap.1.addressSearchLimit=100
Try increasing the value ( you will need to restart tomcat for this to take effect ) and report back the results.

Cheers

can you try

Code: Select all

omldapsearch '(cn=1-*)' dn
and see what this returns?

-- f.

cn=1-Quake, o=Scalix

cn=1-AV-Room, o=Scalix

cn=1-Battleship, o=Scalix

cn=1-Gov't Office, o=Scalix

cn=1-Twister, o=Scalix

cn=1-Woodshed, o=Scalix

and the same with

Code: Select all

omldapsearch '(|(&(cn=%s*)(|(mail=*)(304=4)))(&(sn=%s*)(mail=*))(&(gn=%s*)(mail=*))(mail=%s*)(&(omalias=%s*)(mail=*)))'  dn

where you would replace all occurences of %s in this string with 1-

this is actually the string from the swa.properties config file that SWA uses for the operation....

-- f.

[root@ecs temp]# omldapsearch '(|(&(cn=1-*)(|(mail=*)(304=4)))(&(sn=1-*)(mail=*))(&(gn=1-*)(mail=*))(mail=1-*)(&(omalias=1-*)(mail=*)))' dn
cn=1-Quake, o=Scalix

cn=1-AV-Room, o=Scalix

cn=1-Battleship, o=Scalix

cn=1-Gov't Office, o=Scalix

cn=1-Twister, o=Scalix

SorryI have found the issue I believe. You cannot list more then 100 items in the address book. How can I increase this? It was just hard to figure out be it selectively did not list things rather then taking out the last ones in the list alphabetically.

Yeah... our support had already noticed:
