mail forwarding

Is there a way to forward the email of a scalix user to an external address. For example if I have an email account external_user@mydomain.com can this addres be forwarded to external-user@aol.com. I have number of users who are not connected to my network and i want them to have a company email account. But instead of logging in to our servers have their emails forwarded to their home email.

After posting my question I thought about the mail rules and that seems like an option for me. Is there an easier way to do this at the time I create the email address so i won't have to login to each of these accounts and create a forwarding rule.
