SMTP Relay Host

I am new to Scalix and I tried searching through the Post -- so if there is something out there that is already documented please point me in the right direction.
I have installed Scalix on my local network behind the firewall. I also utilize a Postfix mail relay server for inbound and outbound email.

It is working inbound just find.

Preferred Method:
How do I tell Scalix to utilize the smtp relay host for outbound email?

Note: Also it is failing to send the email outbound directly. When I check the maillog it shows that the file was sent successfully to my yahoo account but I don't receive the email in yahoo.

You need to configure sendmail on your Scalix server to use the Postfix server as a smart host. The thread at http://www.scalix.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1856&highlight=smart+host will give you the information you need.
