Everything seemed to work fine. I can receive emails, send it to scalix users, relay emails but when I try to send emails out I get the error above.

Can you provide a bit more detail on this? What client are you sending from, SWA or Outlook? If it's the latter, are you using Outlook with Scalix Connect or via POP/IMAP? Is it to any outside mail address or just to a specific one? Also, please take a look in your /var/log/maillog file and post the relevent entries here so we can see that part of the transaction.

I've seen this issue before. Everytime nagios probed port 25, it gave that response.

All it means is that something is connecting to port 25, but not issuing any commands. (to state the obvious.) I would tend to blame you're issue on the client (without having any more information)

I realise this doesnt really help with your issue, so provide some more info, as requested above, and we'll probably be able to give more help
