Hello,

I would like to know how I stop scalix advertising the mail software version. Essentially it appears when you telnet into the server using port 25.

Is it possible to stop this?

+0000 (GMT)

This is documented in the smtpd.cfg file itself and also on page 29 of the administration guide in the SMTP Relay section.

The setting you want to modify is GREETING.
