Typo in /etc/init.d/scalix

Postby bguerreiro » Mon Mar 13, 2006 11:37 am

Hi,
Didn't really know where to put this, so sorry if posting it to the wrong place.
There's a typo in scalix script placed in /etc/init.d

Distribution:
CentOS 4.1

Syptoms:
Unable to get status of scalix.

Syntax:
service scalix status

Result:

[root@scalix ~]# service scalix status
/etc/init.d/scalix: line 121: [: missing `]'

Expected behaviour:

[root@scalix ~]# service scalix status
*** scalix

Thanks for that. We'd actually found this not long after we released Scalix 10 and a bug report has been raised for it.

Congratulations for being the only Scalix user ( outside of our field team ) that has used the "service scalix status" command. :-)

Cheers

Dave

I found that too. So I've awarded myself a biscuit and a cup of coffee. :-)

I'll share my bag of cookies with you :-)
