Well that's a big change of attitude, just the other day you were saying how Scalix is near-perfect and there was no way there could be any issues with reliability... which is it?

Joako,

If I'm not mistaken, you've flamed me once before for mentioning that you shouldn't get so uptight about free support while using a free product and you informed me that you were a paying client. I can't help but think that was untrue based on this forum and the fact that you are now trying to become a paying client. So ask yourself the question you've asked of Florian, "which is it?"

Richard,

I thought you were making it a point not to read or respond to my messages?

@joako,

I replied to one of your ActiveSync problems. way back on December 2nd, take a look at that message and get back to me after you have followed the directions. I can't guarantee that this will solve your issue, but let me know through the post in ActiveSync forum what happened.

Sincerely,

Sideband Samurai

There comes a point where enough is enough. Having read almost every post in this forum for the last two years, I can understand the frustration level.

Halo,
is there any release date for the Version 11.5? We have problems with the Category's in outlook contacts and hope that it will work in Version 11.5.

Sssshhhhhh! We're not allowed to ask or they'll delete the topic, put your name in the naughty list and kick your puppy!

Seriously, people have been asking this question for ages. The moment any suggestions or questions about Xandros's or Scalix's commitment to releasing another update comes up, or a query about release schedules is made, all you hear is nothing. Perhaps the acquisition has the act of a desperate company and have gradually sucked Scalix's resources dry to the point where they no can no longer function.

I still ask my reseller every month where Scalix 11.5 is, and they keep saying next quarter. I thought if we antagonised them enough someone from either company would respond but so far it's just been Florian and Dirk flying the flag and little else. To say the companys' efforts in engaging the community inadequate is an understatement.

At this point it's sink or swim, and no one quite knows which it will be.

Is it just coincidence that other non-microsoft solutions are targeting Scalix Customers now? Maybe Zarafa know something we don't.....

From the Zarafa site:
Brian Joseph, CEO at Zarafa, explains: “In 2010 we have experienced that many Scalix partners changed to Zarafa. And now we see many Scalix customers checking non-Linux-alternatives because they do not trust the Scalix roadmap promises anymore. We have decided to help these customers to continue to use Linux”.

Truth or trash talk... ?
