/var/opt/scalix/temp folder filliing up hard disk

Hi there

Over the last month or so I noticed that the /var/opt/scalix/temp folder has been filling up to the point where the var partition has become full. I have stoped Scalix and manually cleaned out the folder on at least two occasions in the last month. After cleaning the var partition looks like this.

/dev/hda3 15G 5.1G 8.7G 38% /var

Real shame when the temp folder contains 8.7GB of rubbish.

Is there an automated method maintaining the temp directory with Scalix 8.x Server

Can you detail what files are left there ? The standard processing of the Scalix processes should normally tidy up after themselves so this may mean that things are terminating abnormally.

However, the omscan process, which normally runs every 30 days will remove files in ~scalix/temp which are over 7 days old. Obviously, if this is running every 30 days you may get to see the build-up you are now.

To get omscan to run more frequently, do the following:

1) omoff -d 0 omscan
2) Edit ~scalix/sys/omscan.cfg and modify the -D option from 30 to a smaller number (in days)
3) omon omscan
