Hi,
I want to move from our current sendmail using PST files to Scalix Enterprise. What is the best way to do this with the least downtime? We are migrating from one server to another.
What directories should be backed up on our current Sendmail application?
Thanks,
-Paul

Hi Paul,
I will need a few more details about your current system to give you the best solution.
1. Are your current users using POP3 to access their mail in Outlook?
2. Will you be using Scalix connect or POP3/IMAP in Outlook to access Scalix?
Thanks,
-Kent

Hi Kent,
Yes, we are currently using Sendmail with POP3 access for email in outlook.
We want to migrate to IMAP with Scalix for outlook.
adding an IMAP account in Outlook should work

Hi Paul,
Since the mail is stored locally on the desktop of the Outlook user, you should be able to have the user setup a IMAP account in Outlook while still having the POP3 accont configured. Then the user can just drag and drop the messages/folders inside of Outlook IMAP account.
Run a quick test of this scenerio and let me know if you hit any issues.
