Hi

I have configured one of my bulletin board (Public Folders) with the following permissions:

Scalix Administrators config read see delete attach
Local Users config read see
Default delete attach

What is a Local User and how can I define a user as one?
What is a Default and how can i define a user as one?

My access is set to Enterprise user and i'm NOT an admin account. Why doesn't my public folder show up in my outlook client program UNLESS i change my account to an admin account?

Thanks!

Hi,

A local user (i.e. a mailbox created on the system concerned) with the Admin capability belongs to the Admin group.

A local user belongs to the Local group, including Admin or non-Admin users.

Everyone belongs to the Default group, including local users.

The capabilities for groups are accumulative so they will be ORed together depending on which group(s) the user belongs.

Hope that helps,
Danny
