Some diacritics turning into question marks?

I have seen this a few times over the past few weeks, so I wanted to ask if it was a Scalix issue.
When I compose and send and email it looks fine on my side. Like this:

I'm not sure if you handle insurance anymore, or just financial planning stuff, but we haven't looked into our insurance plan for several years. If you are still handling this kind of thing, we may want to review what kind of coverage we have. What's involved? Let me know...

But when the receipient replies, all my apostraphies (sp?) turn to question marks like this:

[receiptients response]

Is this appearing to the recipient this way? What's causing it?

Hi,

This could be a character set related issue, however it is difficult to pin point without knowing what client is used for sending, what client is used for replying, and what path the message has taken (e.g. it is going out to the internet and back).

It may be worth checking to see whether the problem exists in a local environment first and whether using different client to send/reply would make a difference.

Hope that helps,
Danny

The client use for sending is OL, and the reply clients could be anything. But since this happens quite a bit, I would imagine the replay clients are OL or some other mainstream client.

I doesn't seem to happen locally at all. Emails sent to other Scalix users don't show the spurious characters. I will see if I can pin down the exact clients being used on both sides.
