Hay everyone I'm not sure if this was brought up in a post already. I'm running Scalix 11.1 on Fedora Core 5, and I'm starting to run out of Local Disk Space. I was going to add the server to our new iSCSI SAN, and was wondering if anyone has had experiance migrating the Scalix data from local disk to SAN. I could really use some pointers this is the first time I have every worked on something like this. Especially Linux and iSCSI SANs.

I don't have a lot of experience with iSCSI and SANs (some, but not a lot), so I am not going to comment on that. The list below is CRITICAL to get right, though, in any data migration:

1) Make sure you keep permissions preverved when you move the data
2) Make sure you mount the mailstore at /var/opt/scalix
3) Ensure you are mounting the SAN as a block device and NOT an NFS mountpoint
