Cluster Setup

Has anyone setup an HA Cluster on SLES 10? Followed documentation from Novell. Both servers says heartbeat is running, but can't see each other. Pulling hair out trying to determine why not.. Anyone with ideas?

Whats your setup like?

2 identical hardware servers running SLES10 sp1. I called Novell tech support since I found out I had 30 days free & found out setup was correct, but needed a dedicated cross-over cable (in fact, 2 of them) between the 2 servers. Once I did that, the hearbeat with SHONITH came up great.

Now I am scratching my head about getting both servers to see the iSCSI evternal RAID. The RAID is configured with LUN and when I run the iSCSI Initiator from YAST, it sees the RAID, but of course it is not connected. I just have to figure out how to connect it and then I cam create my LVMs for the Scalix load.

Should I conncet one of my network adapters from each server and from the RAID to a dedicated switch and not use the common network switch.?
