Hi there i'm install the scalix 11.2 version works fine everything but my client of outlook with the conector works fine but another of my client with outlook express and outlook without connector have a serious problem to get the email via pop3 is need to wait sometime to get the email 6 o 10 minutes to get 1 email is something wrong with the client because 1 client i put the thunderbird and have the same problem the send of email is ok but when try to get him email the delay is a lot i need some help with this

If both Outlook Express and Thunderbird are very slow when connecting to POP3 then the problem is not the Outlook Express client.

Try this on your mail server:
omshowu -n "my name"
<see what the authid is>


telnet localhost 110
user <authid>
pass <password>
retr 1
quit

If it takes a very long time to get the message, the problem is on your server. If it is very fast, the problem is between your clients and your server, maybe in a router or firewall or network with very heavy traffic.

i try the command to check via pop3 but no display nothing y put my userid and put pass and nothing happen i try the command list no work the retr 1 no work but the funny is my users can download the mail and only a few have the problem with the mail no download
