Odd Bandwidth limit question.

Postby konman » Wed Feb 20, 2008 4:16 am

Without rambling on too much - for a general noob - is there an (easy) way to limit the bandwidth to a specific 'local' IP addresses?

Example : Scalix Server I P 192.168.0.10

Outlook connect Client1 IP Address 192.168.0.77
Outlook connect Client2 IP Address 192.168.0.80

Is there a Linux command to give 77 whatever bandwidth and 80 (say) 256 Kbps bandwidh?

Cheers,
Kon.

Hi

Yep you can do that

You need to have a look at the IPTABLES firewall stuff
