Dual Networks Scalix SMTP SLOW

I installed Scalix onto my public server with only one IP and everthing worked great.

We needed failover so I added another network card on a second external network.

So I have two nics running on two distinct networks.

I can access all the webmail and sac as well as send and recieve emails on both networks, but it takes almost a minute and a half to send a simple test message that is 21 KB.

Any suggestions?

Is your DNS working? Slow SMTP (I assume outgoing here) usually points to DNS issues on one of the interfaces.

Yes my DNS is working correctly, The Slow part is from the Email clients of my users to the scalix server. Once it is on the server it sends it our pretty quick.

One user had a backlog of 30 messages in her outbox because the server was accepting about 1 every 5 min. I shutdown her mail client and re-opened it and it was still slow sending.

I have found that the slowdown is even more noticable when the client is connected to network on eth0 and only marginally slower then before when connecting on the network connected to the eth1.

Problem Soved,

Thanks Valerion. The issue was I changed my Authoritive Name servers and forgot to re-point the server to the new name servers.
