No you can't, at least not this easily.
Internal mail is never transported using smtp, so any smtp related configuration will not change a thing. The exception to this is email submitted from Scalix Web Access, which travels via SMTP to the server. Internal mail, coming from Outlook, goes via Service Router to Local Delivery., Again, SMTP is not used as a transport mechanism here.
For anti-virus scanning, we suggest that you use the Service Router Anti Virus interface provided by the Service Router. See the admin guide or the Knowledgebase for configuration information.
Usually, Spam is not really considered a big issue for internal mail, so we don't provide an interface here.
The advantage you gain from Scalix using it's own internal transports is basically no message copying, i.e. when a message is sent from user A to user B on the same server, NO data whatsoever is copied around, only references are passed through the service router and local delivery service. This is very efficient and is part of our great scaleability within the product.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Florian.
