Coexistence failing

Hi,

I'm trying to setup coexistence with a hosted exchange service for evaluation purposes. A this stage all I want to do is send meeting requests etc to an exchange user & have them accepted.

A TNEF route has been added & a suitable directory entry created, but the receiving Exchange server (2003 I believe) is bouncing the messages with a 5.2.1:

----------------------------- ERROR REPORT -----------------------------
Message could not be delivered to the following recipient:

mr.bogus / internet
DDT1=RFC-822; DDV1=mr.bogus@domain.com;

because: 'X.2.1 Mailbox disabled, not accepting messages' [OM 8921]
------------------------------------------------------------------------

However if I send a regular message using MIME all is well.

I've spoken to the hosting company who helpfully inform me that they don't 'support' interoperation with other exchange servers (I wonder if they go one step farther & actively prevent it).

Any ideas folks?

Cheers,

Ben.

Ok, this is new territory for me & naively I assumed I could test in one direction without any synchronisation setup on the exchange side. Re-reading the coexsitence docs it's obvious that something like a meeting request is going to fail in this instance.

I've started a new thread with a revised question.
