Do a search for "Mailbox Admin". There are a few threads discussing this.

hey Valerion

thanx for the tip.
i can access to other mailboxes with the mboxadmin permission.
But only with imap!

is it possible to acces with oulook?
with the installed outlook-scalix-connector, i got a new menu under "Extras/Scalix Properties"
In this Form is field to enter a Mailbox from an other user, which is additional open on the next outlook start.

You can only do it that way if the user has delegated permissions to you. Scalix works on discretionary access control (you decide who can read your mail), not mandatory access control (done via corporate policy).

OK!
That means, i can only view the mailbox via imap with the mboxadmin and
if the user permit the access, i can open an mailbox via outlook too?

The permission can only set by the mailbox owner, or can the admin set it, too?

Correct. It can be done via Outlook as well, but you have to set up the profile specifically for that, so the IMAP route may be a lot easier.

The user sets it, not the admin.
