Support for PAM-based authentication with OpenLDAP or any v3 compliant ldap directory has been a capability of Scalix since January of this year. Send a request into the support mailbox (support@scalix.com) and we can send you a how-to guide.

I would be interested too in this guide and will send a request.
Anyway, for this next server with just 15 people, I am not sure if that is a good idea. I am used to having ldap, but as the user-database won't change often I could just as well use tdbsam and leave scalix as it is.
I would very much like to hear your opinion.
