imap server dieing [solved]

Chris,

one question on deletion - is it safe to delete everything below .../tmp and .../temp or should I only kill the files and not the subfolders?

Just ensure that Scalix Server is off when you do it. There are some files (like cached mime-views) that would be reused if they were there and are thusly created again, but nothing that won't automatically be recreated if needed.

Good news:

Deleting the temps solved the omscan error

Bad news:

The imap error remains.

Can I provide you any further information on this?

Problem solved - there was a corruption in a file called omslapdeng. Replacing it with the one from the install package made the errors go away
