Sendmail problem in Suse 10.1 - relaying denied

Ok, I found the solution...

It was a really stupid error on my side... when I installed Scalix I added a dummy network device with 127.0.0.2 rather than assigning this address as additional address to the existing network card...

After changing this, it all works nicely... :-)

i'm sorry to bother you but i was hoping you could take a look at my problem that i'm having as it also relates to 1and1.com.
i'm not sure what info they need for smtp auth and seeing as you have a working 1and1 account i would really appreciate your input.
