Hi Michael

It works with ActiveSync 3.8 and Windows Mobile 2003 for us. But never :!: edit data on the handheld while it is connected to the pc. The changed appointment will be out of sync if you do this.

Most of our users successfully sync Scalix with SonyEricsson P900/P910.

Cheers

sync problems

Postby jhirsch10 » Thu Oct 26, 2006 5:01 pm

this deffinately doesn't work properly for me with either 3.8 or 4.1. it will sync 1 time after a hard reset, then it appears to sync but transfers no data. i was told it is addressed in 11. is this true? this is obviously becoming a big problem for many users given the number of PDA users out there.

What version of Windows Mobile is your device using? The Scalix Connect 10.0.0.352/Active Sync 3.8.1/Window Mobile 2003 is known to work well.

We're working on the certification for Active Sync 4.2 (or whatever is the most current) with Windows Mobile 2005 and Scalix 11.

Cheers,
Florian.

i've tried devices that are mobile 5. anything that has pocket PC or windows mobile or whatever version acts the same way. everyone here has the treo 700W or the HTC wizard. i have had tickets open with support and was told it was a know issue that active sync has problems with the most current version of scalix. my hope is that it is resolved in 11.
