Postby rudi » Wed Mar 09, 2005 8:19 am

Hi,

How can I configure the scalix server 9.2, when an user receive an email and this email goes automaticaly to an other users mailbox. The email must not stay in the mailbox from the receipient.

Thanks a lot!

You need to configure a redirect rule. You can do this through the web-based interface at http://your.server.com/Scalix/rw

Tomcat Error: The requested resource (/Scalix/rw) is not available.

Is something to install to get the interface, or do you mean the sac.

This looks like you have tomcat listening on port 80. Unless you can get Apache to listen on another port, you won't be able to access the web-based rules wizard.

Hi,

the message forward works without problems, but the forwarded message is in an attachement. The user, who gets the forwarded email get a new mail and the forwarded mail is in a attechement.
Is there an other solution possible?

Thanks for help!!!!

I suggested that you use a redirect not a forward. The purpose of the redirect is to avoid the exact problem you are seeing, i.e. wrapping the original message as an attachment.

I seem to be having problems with this.

When I login to the Rules Wizard and create a rule. I see the rule name, the action to be taken and the status. But the to and from fields are blank!

Is there something I'm missing? The To and From are Scalix Users and I am just typing the name like "John Doe" minus the quotes.

Now, I have noticed when I click on the rule to edit it or view it, even though the name is in the To: field in the action tab and condition tab, when I save it I get prompted that null is not a routable address.

Anyone else having these issues?
