Hi. What name is the user trying to logon as? Can he logon to Outlook, just not SWA and IMAP? Can you also post the output from:

Code: Select all

omsearch -e "cn=joe Stoy" -m @all-attr@ -v

Thanks,
Rachel

All of that looks fine. Are you using some type of external authentication? If so, I'm guessing the AuthID doesn't match the UID value for that user.

What happens when you type:

Code: Select all

omlogon -h 127.0.0.1 -u "Joe Stoy/bluemail" -p PASSWORD

where PASSWORD is the user's password. If that works, type omlogoff to log back off. If that works, have the user use "Joe Stoy" as his Thunderbird logon name and see if that works.

Thanks,
Rachel

My fault, you have his name defined as "Joseph Stoy", not "Joe Stoy" so type:

Code: Select all

omlogon -h 127.0.0.1 -u "Joseph Stoy/bluemail" -p PASSWORD

and if that works have him try logging on as "Joseph Stoy" via Thunderbird.

Thanks,
Rachel

Okay, let's try this. From the user's machine open a Command Prompt and type:

Code: Select all

telnet SCALIX-SERVER 143

where SCALIX-SERVER is your Scalix Server's hostname. You should see something like:

Code: Select all

* OK Scalix IMAP server 10.0.0.175 ready on SCALIX-SERVER

Now type:

Code: Select all

10 login "Joseph Stoy" PASSWORD

where PASSWORD is his password. What did it say (please post the results here)? Now type:

Code: Select all

20 logout

to exit.

Thanks,
Rachel
