System Directory- Multi Domains.

If I were to host multi domains for different customers on one scalix server could I manage by groups only- and switch off the System Directory so that employees of one company couldn' see the details of another?

The Community Edition license does not allow for a hosting solution without requesting permission from Scalix. However, the current software will not give you the solution you're looking for.

Could I not do this in Enterprise either?

I manage websites for around 25 small voluntary organisations.(Around 5-10 staff in each organisation) I would like to offer them an email solution that is much more robust than the pop accounts I currently offer.
Until now I've housed all their websites on the same server- I'f I place scalix on the server then am I right in thinking all the different organisations will appear in the system directory?

Cheers

Using Enterprise Edition, you could run multiple independent Scalix systems per server. However, as each instance carries a certain overhead with it, for your number of users per instance this might not be feasible.

Are you planning on using SWA or Outlook for your users? If SWA, I believe there are other solutions. If Outlook, would it be acceptable if there is a SYSTEM directory having ALL the users but another per-organisation directory that people could see in Outlook?

Thanks,

the benefits of SWA to me- will be that I don;'t have to spend time talking to each user setting up POP3 with people using many different ISP's - I cant' see any of my groups preferring to use Outlook as a client.

Any ideas?
