disable virus scanning

I know this may sound weird to most, but how do I disable all virus scanning of email in Scalix?

RIght now we are using McAfee. I want to completely disable any scanning of viruses in mail messages.

You need to remove /var/opt/scalix/rules/ALL-ROUTES.VIR and restart the service router.

Just to be certain, do I need to do anything to the ~sys/omvscan.cfg file?

No you don't.

The Service Router detects the presence of ALL-ROUTES.VIR. omvscan.cfg is always present in /var/opt/scalix/sys regardless of whether you have configured virus scanning or not.
