How can i delete one duplicate system entry?

hi,

i have double entry in my system directory.
the second one is the old one which i didn´t need anymore.
how can delete only this entry?

omsearch -e S=Scott/G=Chris -m @all-attr@

look for the LID (local unique id), and use that to delete

omdelent -e S=Scott/G=Chris/lid=xxx

if the entry was added locally (and the good one was added by a dirsync as your post implies...it has a propogated-by), you could also use:

omdelent -e "S=Scott/G=Chris/propogated-by="
