User account keeps locking

Hi Fellow Scalix people!

Has anyone ever seen any issues where a user send/receives for email using Oulook express and immediatley it locks the users account?

We have a user who is continuously having this problem. We have triple checked all of the users settings and even changed his password. I have ran omscan -ASvxU "User" and also checked for any locked processes but can not see anything.

Is there anything else I could try to resolve this issue?

you should only run this option "S" without local delivery and rci interface online!

Not quite sure what you mean, should I be running omscan -AvxU "User" instead? I'm not quite sure what rci interface online is, could you explain please?

man omscan

-S Used to correct message store size values if they
are believed to be incorrect. This option should be
used while users are not signed on. Local delivery
should be turned off to ensure an accurate figure.


omoff -d0 ld rci
omscan -AvfxS -U"<username"
omon ld rci

but you need this only checked size errors!

omscan -Avfx -U .... is in most cases enough!
