Warning messages in omshowlog

Postby sgreen » Tue Mar 03, 2009 1:26 pm

I have many messages like the following and would like to know if they represent a real concern and/or if they are due to something that can be fixed.

WARNING Remote Client (U/I Access ) 03.03.09 11:23:48
[OM.UI 4610] No mapping available for local DirectRef in action file

We are running scalix 11.4 and this seems to only be happening for outlook connector users.

The client should fall back to traversing the message store to find the items. These warnings won't go away though, so you'd probably want to sxmbox[exp|imp] at some point. Oh, and figure out what caused the problem in the first place - a system failure? Disc problem?

There have been no problems with the discs that I am aware of, but we have had scalix crash once or twice. The scalix server is using san storage with many other machines using that same san and no disc problems on any of them.

These warnings only show for outlook connector users.

Hi, got a question to that issue.

I also get those Warnings for 1 Mailbox.. every few days one warning of that sort.

After doing sxmboxexp, is it necessary in this particular case, to import into a newly created account or can I just delete everything in that Mailbox and re import into the same account?

Thanks!

Hi,

we also see these messages with several mailboxes and as far as I can say in many cases users with enabled Smart Cache are affected. We are also running Scalix on a SAN volume without any disk problems yet.

I still get those errors 1-3 times/week. Any hints what could be causing that and what they actually mean?

Thanks

Max
