Incoming Internet Mail issue

Hello,

I noticed the following error in the scalix error report and it has tallied with failure of an email to reach our system from an external person. The error was:

SERIOUS ERROR Internet Mail (Incoming ) 03.01.05 16:07:27
[OM.UX 1402] Cannot read SMTP command.
Pid of logging process: 23550

omsolve shows error 1402 as a non-specific error.

Any ideas? Problems with the internet mail gateway?

This can happen if the other end of the SMTP conversation drops without warning. If this doesn't happen on a regular basis, I'd put this down to a network blip.
