Adding content to public folders

Postby DDavid » Tue Jan 17, 2006 1:32 pm

Is there another way to add content to a public folder without mailing it ?
Where is the folder located ?, can I upload to folder directory location ?

Thanks

The Public Folders are stored in /var/opt/scalix/data along with all the other messages in the message store. This means that it is not possible to copy content via the filesystem. Additionally, the message store files themselves tend to be in a binary format specifically for Scalix use, i.e. we typically do not store them as mbox or MIME.

The only other solution is to use a client such as Outlook if you are intending to bulk copy the information.

Cheers

Dave
