3 Weeks ago i've migrated nearly 60 mailboxes from our old IMAP server (SuSE E-Mailserver 3.1) to a new Scalix 11.3 on SuSE Enterprise Server 9. We only use it for e-mail, not for calendaring.
I have some very basical problems:
1. When a user tries to delete mail it takes a lot of minutes. They even can't move their spams to trash in an acceptable time.
I've tried to to repair mailboxes via omscan, to make indexes via omtidy and sxmkindex and so on, but this problem remains.
2. The users can't search in the mailbox for words. They only get hits when they search in the mailheaders, but in the mailbody they get no hit. This doesn't work in Thunderbird and SWA.
3. Performance of SWA is very low.
The host is not the best (AMD Sempron 3000+, 4*36 GB Seagate U160 SCSI RAID 5 10000 RPM, 2048 MB RAM), but the old system with webmail too runs on it very fast.
I'm frustrated and thinking of remigrating back to the old system. Do you have some ideas for this basical things? A lot of thanks in advance.
