i could also not found a solution in the documentation of the internet mail gateway.

i restarted all scalix processes and also the whole server.

does anyone have a proper solution to resubmit these messages or delete them?

The gateway should resubmit them automatically on a restart. There could be something wrong with them. You can try an interactive omresub, but the UNIX queue is not an error queue, so it may not work. omqdump will be able to get rid of them, as it can do anything to any queue. Dangerous tool, though, if used incorrectly as it bypasses all the mailstore integrity checks.

omqdump....be afraid...be very afraid :-)

I am surprised that nothing is reported when the messages are resubmitted...it should report something!

It may actually be worth using omqdump to move the messages from the unix queue to the router to force them to be rerouted...that will get an entry into the event log.

What about "omstat -q unix"

does that show anything strange/common about these messages?

charon,

omqdump is the thing to use!

Stop the service router sop nothing goes into the queue
when you get in there:

use "D", then the queue name, and the number of repetitions

# omstat -q unix
omstat : There are no messages on the queue

i hope nobody will kill me tomorrow ;)

thanks for your help
