daily backup for one user

hi!

i would like to have a daily backup for one user.

sxmboxexp seems to be okay for this job.

sxmboxexp -u username -a /output_directory/output_filename.mbox -F


will this backup include his address book and calendar too?
i need a backup of all his data (emails, addresses, calendar, etc..).

Yes, it will, as long as they are in the mailstore and not a PST (don't laugh, I had to explain the different before after a disaster). To be safe, create a new user (preferably on a test server) and import the sxmboxexp and check the contents.

do you mean a _local_ PST file?
i'm quite sure that all user data is on the scalix server.

Yes I did mean a local PST.

sxmboxexp will grab everything on the server.
